I’m Brenda Varela, a literary and editorial translator working from English into Spanish. My work ranges from books, devotionals, and Bible commentaries to literary essays, articles, and other editorial projects. I also provide editing and proofreading to ensure every text is ready for publication.
My love for words began in childhood, nurtured by a lifelong passion for reading. That love grew stronger while studying Hispanic Literature and later through specialized training in Literary and Humanistic Translation. These experiences shaped the way I approach translation: as both an art and a craft.
Faith has also been part of my journey, opening doors to projects such as Bible commentaries and devotionals, yet my expertise goes beyond that field. Whether literary, editorial, or faith-based, what matters most to me is transmitting each author’s message with clarity, style, and authenticity.
